Testing & quality
Mighty K9 testing and quality: what the badges do and do not prove
Mighty K9 shows a Good Manufacturing Practice badge and a Manufacture in USA badge, but neither names a certifier or facility. There is no NASC Quality Seal and no public lab report. The label is short and states 1.6 mg of ESS60 per 2 mL. To check quality, ask the brand for a batch certificate of analysis from an outside lab.

The short version
Is Mighty K9 tested by an independent lab?
We could not find any public lab test for Mighty K9. The brand has not posted a certificate of analysis from a named outside lab, and the label names no testing body.
That is common in pet supplements, but it is still a gap. FDA does not review a pet supplement's safety, strength or quality before it goes on sale (Tufts Petfoodology, Supplements). Pet supplements fall under animal food or animal drug rules, not the dietary supplement law for people (FDA, Pet food regulation). The brand is responsible for quality, and the buyer has to take its word or ask for proof.
What Mighty K9 does give you is a short, specific label. It lists three ingredients and states the ESS60 amount and the calories. Every line is decoded on the Guaranteed Analysis page.

Badges
What do the Mighty K9 badges prove?
Seven badges appear in the brand's graphics. Here is what each one means, in plain words.

A brand badge. No certifier, facility or audit report is named, so treat it as a claim, not proof.

A brand badge. The label image does not print a facility or city.

Matches the sales page: money back within 30 days, even for empty bottles. Return shipping is on you.

A brand icon for the mobility claim. It is artwork, not a certification.

A brand icon for the joint claim. No study of Mighty K9 stands behind it.

A brand icon. Your own dog's daily behavior is the only scorecard that counts.

A brand icon. Mighty K9 makes no heart claim on its label, and neither do we.
Only one badge describes something you can hold the seller to: the 30-day empty bottle guarantee. The others are artwork or claims with no named auditor behind them. Badges describe the brand's message. They are not a lab result.
NASC
Does Mighty K9 have the NASC Quality Seal?
No. We found no NASC Quality Seal on the bottle, the label panel or any brand graphic.
The National Animal Supplement Council is a U.S. trade group for animal supplement makers. A company may show its seal only after passing an independent facility audit. It must also keep a written quality manual, report adverse events and follow label rules (NASC, Quality Seal).
The seal reflects how a company runs its processes. It does not prove a product works. A missing seal does not prove poor quality either. It just means one outside check is not there.
If the seal matters to you, ask the order desk at +1 (302) 200-3480 whether the brand belongs to NASC or plans to apply.
GMP and origin
Who certifies the Mighty K9 GMP badge?
The badge does not say. It reads "Good Manufacturing Practice," but it names no certifier, no facility and no audit report.
Real GMP certificates come from a named auditor, cover a specific plant and carry a date. Without those details, the badge is the brand's own claim. The same goes for two other lines:
- "Manufacture in USA." No facility, city or maker is printed on the label images.
- "Organic." The front panel says organic olive oil. The ingredient line says only "Extra Virgin Olive Oil" and names no organic certifier.
None of this means the claims are false. It means you cannot check them from the bottle.
The wider market
Why does quality testing matter for pet supplements?
Because the market has a track record of products that miss their labels. Independent groups keep finding the same problems.
Poor quality control
Veterinary nutritionists at Tufts warn that many pet supplements have poor quality control, and few have been studied in pets (Tufts Petfoodology, Supplements).
Failed tests
The AVMA reports that many animal supplements fail quality tests for strength and contaminants (AVMA, Pet supplements).
Off-label strength
A 2021 study bought C60 oils online and tested them. Some were off their label strength by more than 18% (Grohn 2021, mice).
That last point hits close to home. Mighty K9 promises 1.6 mg of ESS60 per serving, and only a batch test can confirm it.

Order nowCertificate of analysis
What should a real certificate of analysis show?
A real certificate of analysis (CoA) is a lab report for one batch. It names the lab, the lot and the results, so anyone can match it to a bottle.
| Item | What a real CoA shows | Public for Mighty K9 |
|---|---|---|
| Lab name | An outside lab, ideally accredited | Not published |
| Lot number | Matches the code on your bottle | Seller reference MK-26/GO-8585 only |
| C60 amount | Measured mg per serving against 1.6 mg | Not published |
| Oil freshness | Signs the oil has not gone rancid | Not published |
| Contaminants | Heavy metals and microbes, with limits | Not published |
| Date and signature | Test date and a named analyst | Not published |
The code MK-8585-26-GO is a seller reference, not a lab document. See how to check your batch.
Check it yourself
What can you check on the Mighty K9 bottle yourself?
Tap a number to see what each part of the bottle tells you, and what it leaves out.
- Dropper
Black rubber bulb and glass dropper. The brand's serving calculator counts one full dropper as 1 mL.
- Amber glass
Dark amber glass, a common choice for light-sensitive oils. Still keep it in a cupboard: light is the main threat to olive oil.
- Wordmark
MIGHTY K9, Canine Supplements. Same wordmark as the Guaranteed Analysis panel.
- Label art
A spaniel resting its chin. Decoration, not a claim.
- Organic olive oil
The front says Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The ingredient line says Extra Virgin Olive Oil and names no organic certifier.
- 100% ESS60
Front-panel wording. The Guaranteed Analysis gives the amount: 1.6 mg ESS60 per 2 mL serving.
- Bacon flavor
The taste ingredient. Its source is not listed.
- Net contents
2 fl oz (60 mL): 30 servings of 2 mL. The label prints NET WT, though fluid ounces measure volume.
The amber glass is a good sign for an oil, since light is the main threat to olive oil (IOC, Olive oil storage). Keep the bottle in a dark cupboard anyway.
Ask the brand
What should you ask the Mighty K9 brand about quality?
Ask for documents, not reassurance. A brand that tests its batches can send proof quickly.
| Question | A solid answer |
|---|---|
| Can I see the CoA for my lot? | A lab report naming the lab and your lot |
| Who audits your GMP badge? | An auditor's name and a certificate date |
| Where is it made? | A facility and city |
| Who certifies the organic oil? | A named organic certifier |
| What is the bacon flavor made from? | A plain source, useful for allergies |
| Are you an NASC member? | Yes or no, with the seal if yes |

FAQ
Mighty K9 testing and quality FAQ
Is Mighty K9 third-party tested?
We found no public third-party test for Mighty K9. The brand has not posted a lab certificate that names an outside lab and a lot number. Ask the order desk for the certificate of analysis that matches the lot on your bottle.
Does Mighty K9 have an NASC seal?
No NASC Quality Seal appears on the bottle or the brand graphics. The seal shows a company passed an independent facility audit and follows quality and reporting rules. It does not prove a product works, and its absence does not prove poor quality.
What does the GMP badge on Mighty K9 mean?
It is a brand badge that reads Good Manufacturing Practice. It names no certifier, facility or audit report, so you cannot verify it from the bottle. Ask the brand who audits the plant and for the certificate date.
Where is Mighty K9 made?
The brand badge says Manufacture in USA, but no facility, city or manufacturer is printed on the label images. Gomightyk9 is an authorized shop, not the manufacturer. Ask the order desk if you want the facility details.
How do I know the olive oil in Mighty K9 is organic?
The front panel says organic extra virgin olive oil, but the ingredient line names no organic certifier. We report organic as the brand's claim. Ask the order desk which body certifies the oil if that matters to you.
How can I tell if a C60 oil is the right strength?
Only a batch lab test can tell you. A 2021 study found some C60 oils sold online were off their label strength by more than 18%. Ask for a certificate of analysis that measures C60 in mg per serving for your lot.
